Luke Gorrie

SnabbCo

Luke Gorrie started the Snabb Switch project to capture what he learned from 15 years of developing telecom network equipment.

He also worked at the first Erlang startup company (Bluetail), co-founded the SLIME project for Lisp, wrote firmware in Forth for One Laptop Per Child and device drivers in Smalltalk for Alan Kay's STEPS project, and he once won a prize in the ICFP Programming Contest together with Joe Armstrong and Robert Virding.

Prior to Snabb Switch he was CTO at Teclo Networks developing a completely new TCP/IP stack that is widely deployed for mobile network optimization.
